The loader and hoe ends
On the loader end, check the bucket, arms, pins and quick coupler for wear and play. On the hoe end, work the boom, dipper and bucket and check every pin for slop. Test the extendable dipper (extendahoe) if fitted, it should extend and retract smoothly. Check the stabilizer pads and cylinders for wear and for holding pressure.
